I caught this at individual of the Brown Line stops in Chicago, before beforehand I’ve seen this ad.
Firstoff I soup?on this was an ad in finances of LG products because of the valiant sans serrif “LC” looks like the “LG” when erect ontop of a photo.
Secondly, this concept was done already by manner of a crew named Paul Rand, (ever heard of him?) in finances of a Pty IBM. I do not conscious who did this Lens Crafters ad, but they innocently took the IBM pictogram conception and tried to chop it up to discernment basics LC, which in finances of me didn’t toil. Keep in feeling this is individual happy result in finances of the natural ?lan in advertising charge, the Paul Rand story.
As far as branding, their logo is a chiffon erect serrifed typeface, and this ad uses the rigorous oposite.
